You never know when you might find yourself in an unsafe situation.

When we think of violence, we tend to assume that all victims of domestic abuse are women. Most programs tend to protect women. That may be statistically correct, yet it misses other vulnerable populations.

As Yudit Sidikman, the founder of MyPwr LTD, points out,

“There are many other relational dynamics that we must address and make sure that ESD (Empowerment Self Defense), can be used to help people in threatening and harmful situations. Parent- Children- Parent Abuse, Siblings Abusing Siblings are also prevalent, and it is time to shed light in that corner of the room as well.”

The 5 Principles of ESD- THINK, YELL, RUN, FIGHT & TELL, as well as the MyPwr App can help not only women and girls navigate their way to safety, but so many more.

While our first version is for women, we are already building infrastructure for adapting and customizing our app to impart the skillset to other populations who need to navigate to safety, including men, teenagers, seniors, and those with physical challenges.

In the MyPwr App, we empower users to make the choices they need to for their own safety and well-being.

The choices we make for ourselves now can lay a foundation for a safer world tomorrow.

Like in the App Waze, we need to first know where we are going and set goals for ourselves.

We need to assess if the road/ situation is safe to travel on, and we need to leave room between us and the next car/ set boundaries, in case we decide to change routes.

MyPwr App can help you get to where you want to go.

Let us navigate this journey together.
