Art of the start & failure to finish

Updated: 2 days ago

As we just entered the new year of 2022, many of us are compelled to turn over a new leaf and start something new. We take on New Year's resolutions and are inspired to make changes to our habits and take on healthier lifestyles. Many people join gyms and go for a few weeks, even a few months until the excitement wears off.

As someone who has just started working at MyPwr, I am excited to get started on creating engaging and growth oriented content to help the world get to know the incredible MyPwr App which is committed to changing the culture of violence around the world by bringing Empowerment Self Defense into the palm of our hands.

As I sit down to write this blog, I have identified that I am good at the Art of the Start, yet, I have a fear of finishing. As Guy Kawasaki, the author of The Art Of The Start, 2.0 says

“Ideas are easy. Implementation is hard.”

In the process of creating the MyPwrApp, we understand that people come in with enthusiasm to start something, yet by day three, it can start to taper off. That is why one of the first things we do is ask the user for a personal commitment. We designed it this way because we know how challenging it is to finish what we start.

We at MyPwr are here to support you on your journey.
